Clean Your The Closets

If you have unneeded items you are ready to donate, the following are two organizations that would be happy to receive your unwanted goods:

City Life Youth Center

“Doing some early spring cleaning perhaps? Have some items you no longer wear/use and are willing to donate? Consider donating your gently used items to The City Life Youth Center is having a yard sale Feb 27 & 28 if you need to get rid of your stuff! This is their fundraiser. They are located on 145 N. Taquitz in Hemet. Stop by prior to the day of the yard sale and ask when would be a good time/day to bring your items to donate.”

From last year:  “We just opened our Diaper Bank! It’s located at My City Youth Center. You can make a deposit of new disposable diapers for teenage moms there. We need 131,400.00 diapers for 2015.  Now that’s a lot of diapers!”

Veteran’s Alliance of Southern California

Spring cleaning?? What to do with those things you replaced with NEW things at Christmas?? Storage shed that HAS TO GO???? Yard sale leftovers and don’t know what to do???

Well, you can gift them to Veteran’s Alliance of Southern California, and we will use them first in our rapid re-housing, then during street and homeless outreach, then with homeless programs… and then we will sell them by the bin to earn some income to help us do all the things we do… mentioned in part above.

We have drop off sites, or can arrange to come and pick them your donations up! Just message us, or give Fred a call. (951) 288-9728….. THANKS!

Current drop off sites are:

  • Extra Space Storage, 851 West Esplanade Avenue, San Jacinto, CA 92582 (next to Valley Wide Park),
  • VFW on Santa Fe, 1891 South Santa Fe Avenue, San Jacinto, CA 92583 (Menlo and Esplanade), and
  • Allen Auto Glass, 2491 East Florida Avenue, Hemet, CA 92544 (Columbia and Florida).
