Cahuilla Indians (Idyllwild) — September 16

The following is from

Join us in the cool temps of Idyllwild at the fantastic Nature Center for a special Native American (Cahuilla Indian) morning. We will go on a tour, venture out on an easy nature walk/hike, then have a hand-sewn leather patch workshop where each student will make their own, and visit the outdoor stations. The program runs approx 2-2.5 hours, and we are free to enjoy our own picnic lunches on the many benches or forest floor afterwards. There is a $5 fee per student. There is also a fun nature shop at the center filled with books, and cool items of interest so you may also want to bring some spending money.

Appropriate for ages 5-13
$5 per student
Open to the first 40 students to RSVP
