We are very excited to bring Engineering for Kids to the Inland Empire and San Diego County! Engineering For Kids brings Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), to kids ages 4 to 14 in a FUN and challenging way through classes, camps, clubs, and parties. We are proud to inspire children to build on their natural curiosity by teaching engineering concepts through hands-on learning. From designing and constructing rockets, hot air balloons, dragsters and roller coasters, to robotics, video game designing and creating fun objects using LEGO® bricks. The variety of programming is extraordinary!

What makes us different?

Engineering for Kids encompasses ALL aspects of STEM education. Our curriculum is created to incorporate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math principles into all of our lessons rather than to separate each of them. Normally these subjects are taught separately and rarely any correlation is given to bridge the gap between them. Engineering For Kids shows the association among these four subjects to give a complete view of how and why things in our world work! While Engineering For Kids offers many Robotics programs, we are not a Robotics company. Engineering For Kids includes the use of LEGO® bricks in some of our curriculum, but we are not just a building block company. We offer well over 100 different classes involving many facets of our physical world and how it works…but more importantly, how to make it better!

We have an entire team working together every day creating new curriculum and finding new ways to challenge our children. While we work with local schools, we are free to teach in creative and non-conforming ways to cater to each individual group…meaning we can alter our class or curriculum to meet your individual needs. Each of our units is designed to meet specific national standards in STEM: Science (NSES), Technology & Engineering (ITEEA), and Mathematics (NCTM).

Why STEM, and what are the benefits?
“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live it’s whole life believing that it’s stupid”- Albert Einstein

Every child has a genius in them, and it is our job as adults and parents to find that genius. The word educate stems from the Latin word educere, and means “to draw out”, not “put in”. Our goal is to help draw out the genius in all of our kids, and especially those that don’t learn by sitting and listening! Children are all incredibly intelligent. They learn by trial and error from birth. They talk things through, they move, create, experiment, make mistakes, fall down, and it doesn’t bother them at all. We have an extensive and proven curriculum that allows kids to learn by trial and error, and allows room for exploration rather than learning a right or wrong answer. Our world would not be what it is today had our past and current engineers and inventors stopped when they found a “right” answer to a problem. They continually look for new and better “right” answers.

We at Engineering For Kids Temecula take pride in starting children on the path to finding better “right” answers by allowing them to practice trial and error in a safe environment, where mistakes are an acceptable and expected part of the process of Engineering!
