Riverside Tamale Festival
Spanish Town Heritage Foundation
The Spanish Town Heritage Foundation is partnering with the YWCA of Riverside County to host the 2014 Riverside Tamale Festival in Riverside’s beautiful White Park. Food, music, dancing and art will be center stage at the Festival as city residents join together to celebrate our communal culture. Festival organizers have taken the first steps toward the vision of rehabilitating and restoring the Trujillo Adobe and sharing Riverside’s pre-history, that of La Placita de los Trujillos, by incorporating as the Spanish Town Heritage Foundation, a California public non-profit benefit corporation, and are applying to the IRS for charitable status. These first steps were made possible by your support and patronage of the 2013 festival.
