The Huntington Beach Historical Society is proud to host the 20th annual Civil War Days Living History and Reenactment in Huntington Beach Central Park on the 150th anniversary of the War Between the States
Dates: August 31st and September 1st, 2013
HB Central Park on Gothard between Slater and Talbert
Camps open to the Public on Saturday and Sunday
Battle Times: Sat: 1:30 and 4 PM / Sun: 11 and 2 PM
Admission: Free to the Public!
One of the largest Civil War living history reenactment events, West of the Mississippi. Held annually on Labor Day Weekend in Huntington Beach Central Park
featuring hundreds of living historians from all over the country.
Saturday: Camp opens to the public at 10AM, First battle at 1:30 PM, Living History Weapons Demonstration to follow 1st Battle, Second Battle at 4 PM, President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address with US Marine Band Serenade at 4:45PM, Twilight Concert featuring The Armory Band at 5:30PM, Evening Reenactor Dance 7:30PM
Sunday: Church services at 9AM, Camp opens to the public at 10AM, First battle at 11:00 AM, Living History Weapons Demonstration to follow 1st battle, Second Battle at 2PM, President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address with US Marine Band Serenade at 245PM
President Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address daily – 15 min after each battle
Pass in Review Parade to follow the first battle each day
