Boys Adrift by Dr. Leonard Sax (Temecula) — May 28

Boys Adrift by Dr. Leonard Sax is available in book and audio book form at our local library.  This book comes highly recommend by friends of my that study in the field of psychology.  As a mother of a boy, I consider this REQUIRED reading.

The following is from http://www.mhatemecula.org:

Failure to Launch Part II: THE SOLUTIONS

The following 5 Factors identified by Dr. Leonard Sax in his book Boys Adrift have been contributing to the overall challenge of our boys becoming adult men.

1. Changes in our education system

2. Video games

3. ADHD medications

4. Endochrine disruptors

5. Lack of strong male role models

In his first Failure to Launch presentation, Dr. Erik Lundquist discussed in detail the evidence supporting the above claims and the impact it is having on our boys and our society at large.  Now Dr. Lundquist invites you to discuss the SOLUTIONS to the 5 factors!

In this presentation Dr. Lundquist will briefly review the 5 factors and go into detail on HOW TO MAKE AN IMPACT on the boys in our community in helping them get OFF THE LAUNCH PAD and become LEADERS in the community!

We invite you to come join us on
