Join local holistic moms for a FREE kids clothing swap. Let’s face it — kids grow and fast. That’s why we need to continually upgrade their wardrobes for each stage of growth. We are hosting our yearly event to swap outgrown children’s clothing with other Moms looking for an exchange. Bring your kids to help you hunt for nice outfits. We need clothes for the older kids too. Bring any toys your children have outgrown as well. If we have leftover items, we can take them right next door to the charitable Assistance League Thrift Shop. Tax exemption receipts are available.

High-Brix, Nutrient-Dense Farming  -A Potluck luncheon hosted by the Temecula Weston A. Price Foundation Chapter

May 16, 2013

11:30 am -1:30 pm at the Assistance League of Temecula Valley, 28720 Via Montezuma, Temecula, 92590

Did you know that even wholesome foods like broccoli contain much less nutrition than they did about 70-120 years ago? Nearly all food today, even food organically grown, has sub optimal nutrition thanks to poor farming practices, which in turn, have depleted our soils.

High Brix nutrient-dense farming principles replenish the soil and greatly increase the nutrition of food. High-brix farmers strive to constantly improve the nutrient density levels of their foods to reach the nutrition levels our foods had originally. Our research has shown that the more nutrient dense our food is, the healthier we will all be, the less food we will need to eat, and the more you will enjoy eating healthy foods due to the better flavor. Better taste tends to go hand in hand with better nutrition. You’ll leave this presentation with a richer understanding of how food is grown, why it makes a difference, and how to increase the quality of your own nutrition!
