Tomorrow is your last chance to view talented cellphone art collected from locals to display at the Diamond Valley Arts Council. The artists ranged in age from 9 years and up. Here is a video of the reception: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=ZvsltSphHQU.
I am biased. I think Shannon Lucas, a fellow homeschooling mom, has the best photos on display. Apparently my husband is also biased. This event was so popular that I expect it will be held again next year.
“Lois Stipp, president of the non-profit Diamond Valley Arts Council, decided to extend the Cellphone Art Gallery show at the Esplanade Arts Center for an extra weekend. The hundreds of photos on display can be viewed Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m through Sunday, April 21. Admission is free.
The Esplanade Arts Center, which is an impressive facility worth visiting, is located in San Jacinto close to the Fresh & Easy in the shopping center at Esplanade and Sanderson avenues. The prints are on sale for $15 with all the money going to the non-profit Diamond Valley Arts Council. Check it out while the photos are still on the gallery walls.”
