Report your rattlesnake

Your help is requested in locating rattlesnakes.

The following is from http://blog.pe.com/bob-pratte/2013/04/07/hemet-great-rattlesnake-hunting-at-diamond-valley-lake:

“Hayes, a professor in the Earth and Biological Sciences department at Loma Linda University, is studying the distribution of rattlesnake species in the Inland region.

After identifying Adam Ince’s photo of a strangely green rattlesnake slithering by Diamond Valley Lake as a Southern Pacific, Hayes invited readers to email photos of rattlers they see. He wants to know where and when they were photographed. He is happy to identify the snakes. The photos will help him determine the range of Southern Pacific, Speckled, Western Diamond, Red Diamond and Mojave Green rattlesnakes. The photos can be emailed to whayes@llu.edu”
