Nature Walk (Idyllwild) — October 19

Date: Friday,
Time: 1:00- 4:00 pm: Picnic lunch & Tour of the Nature Center Museum, followed by
90 min. nature walk through the forest.
Location: Idyllwild Nature Center, CA

Local tree expert Debbie Geisinger will lead us on a walk through the forest while she
describes the different trees and plants (and occasional birds and squirrels).

Do not wear sandals, bring walking shoes. Also a light sweater or jacket in case it is a
chilly fall day.

No dogs.
Please bring sack lunch.
Bring water bottles.

Cost: Nature Center day pass
11 and under $2.00
12 and up $3.00
Grade Level: 3rd-12th grade…We are going on a nature walk through the forest and you
are best aware of your student’s abilities.
There is available space for: 30 total, including parents and students (first students to
RSVP)
Are Parents required to stay? Yes
