All World City events are FREE and open to the public.
The following is from Music Center at email@example.com:
World City at The Music Center would like to invite you on October 13, 2012 to celebrate the indigenous music of the French-speaking Creoles of south central and south west Louisiana with Grammy Award-winning musician Terrance Simien and the Zydeco Experience! If that’s not enough, children can also enjoy workshops that explore the featured culture through unique art-making projects.
For 10 years, World City audiences have been exploring the sights and sounds of cultures from around the world, and in celebration of this special milestone, we invite you to get your World City Explorer Passport! Use the passport to document your explorations as you travel with us this year (while supplies last).
Consisting of two city blocks on Grand Avenue between Temple Street and Second Street, The Music Center is home to some of Los Angeles’ most historic and iconic venues and theaters.
The Ahmanson Theatre, the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, the Mark Taper Forum, The Music Center Plaza, the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the W.M. Keck Foundation Children’s Amphitheatre are all located at The Music Center.
We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes prior to curtain to ensure a relaxed experience when parking and finding your seats.
