SoCal Fair Entry Deadline (Perris) — September 8

The Southern California Fair is October 5-14.   The deadline to submit and an entry is September 8th, 2012 at 4pm.    Exhibits and Livestock are a favorite and important part of any Fair.   There are hundreds of areas to show your stuff.

Southern California Fair Agricultural Scholarship

The Southern California Fair is proud to announce a new Scholarship Program replacing  the Ethel M. Silvers Award program. The Scholarship Program will meet the Fair Board’s intention of encouraging students involved in agricultural programs to continue their education beyond high school and consider a career in the Agricultural Industry and it will provide increased community awareness of the Southern California Fair and its initiatives.

 Each Applicant must meet all of these minimum qualifications:

  • Be a resident of Riverside County,
  • Be of an age able to complete in Junior Exhibits
  • Must have exhibited in the Southern California Fair in the previous 36 months
  • Submit school verification of a minimum 2.5 grade point average in the previous academic year.

2012 Farmers Daughters Scholarship

The Farmers Daughters Program has been a part of the Southern California Fair’s long history.  Available to girls ages 16-19, who have exhibited  at the Fair within the previous 36 months.

Applications are due September 5th at 6:00pm – when the girls arrive to participate in the selection interviews. Up to five girls will be selected to participate in the 2012 Farmers Daughter Scholarship Program.
