Projects and contact information can change from year to year. Please check for updated information before planning to attend. The following is from http://ramonarancheros4h.webs.com:
The Ramona Rancheros 4-H Club hosts a general meeting once a month at 7pm on the second Thursdays from August through June. They meet at Community Christian School on corner of Stetson & Stanford, Hemet. The annual dues are $30 per year per child for unlimited projects. This is available to children ages 5-19.
At the general meeting children sign-up for project(s). The participates of each project choose their monthly meetings. So if you sign up for three projects that would be four meetings a month.
4-Hers do a lot of community service and leadership training. Kids run the meetings. The general meetings start with a game, then a short meeting for passing along info, another game, and then snack. Sometimes there is a presentation, demonstration or a guest speaker from the community.
Some projects they have had are:
Horse, dog, sewing, outdoor adventure, leadership, rabbit, cooking, community service, sheep, horticulture, goat, dance, and dutch-oven cooking.
The projects can change from year to year because they are lead by an adult, usually a parent of a child in the project. You do not need an animal to join an animal project (this is how you learn about them).
