Why Trinity Law School?
The purpose of Trinity Law School is to educate, motivate and mobilize attorneys to advocate for justice, serve the Church, and pursue the truth.
Trinity Law School is distinct in its approach to the study of law. Trinity views law as ministry and encourages students to use their legal education in the service of others and to advocate for those in need. Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said, “We are not to simply bandage the wounds of victims beneath the wheels of injustice, we are to drive a spoke into the wheel itself.” This theme resonates through all aspects of a Trinity education as students are immersed into a culture of like-minded people striving to be transformed into legal professionals who can bring justice where it did not previously exist.
Trinity Law School provides a practical legal education. Trinity offers a legal curriculum that prepares its students for the practice of law. Trinity offers electives and skills courses in civil litigation, nonprofit law, family law, international human rights, intellectual property, to name a few. We also offer on-campus internships with the Pacific Justice Institute and Orange County Christian Legal Aid Office, and an off-campus poverty law clinic at the Orange County Rescue Mission. In addition, we facilitate numerous off-campus internship opportunities with government agencies and private law offices.
Trinity Law School is surprisingly affordable and offers a variety of scholarships from partial to full-tuition. Students with LSAT scores in the 150’s will be considered for partial scholarships, and those with LSAT scores at 160 or above will be considered for a full-tuition scholarship. Federal financial aid is also available to Trinity students.
We hope you will consider Trinity Law School for your legal education.
Our country is run by lawyers. If you are saddened by the condition our country is in and you have a civic-minded child, here is an opportunity for your child to visit with other Christian lawyers whose goal is SERVE, not fleece our community.
Do you know who Dietrich Bonhoeffer is? This Christian man took at stand against Adolf Hilter and died in a concentration camp along with millions of Jews. To learn more about a Christian man who lived his faith with integrity visit http://www.dbonhoeffer.org. There is a four-part interview of Eric Metaxes regarding Bonhoeffer on Haven Today (www.haventoday.org).
Our local library also has resources on Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
