Vacation Bible School (VBS) is usually a 3-hour day camp for children ages 4 through 5th or 6th grade. Summer camps are overnight camps. My son is in 6th grade so this is the last time I will compile this list. Camps often occur the same week year after year. If your interested in these camps next year, than I suggest you go to each website in May.

What is Vacation Bible School (VBS)? Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a church’s community outreach. It is a Christ-centered day camp that focuses on explaining The Gospel. Gospel means good news. The Gospel is that Jesus has payed for (atoned) for our sins. Sin is a marksmanship term that simply means, “missed the mark.” If you have ever told a lie, stole, or hated someone, then you have sinned. You have broke God’s commandment. God’s law can be summed up as love and respect for your God and others.
