Summer Strings Academy

Inland Valley String Institute is offering Summer Strings Academy 2012.   It will run 4 days a week for 3 weeks from June 11-June 29.   There will be a FREE public concert on Friday, July 29th at 5pm.

Sign up by May 31st to receive a 10% discount.

There are family rates as well and a sliding scale so you can pay what you can afford in the range indicated.  If you need scholarship help, let them know right away.  They are working hard on raising funds to help those who need it.

Seventy percent of students enrolled in the program receive some form of scholarship support.   Last year the Academy registered 44 string players ranging in age from 6 to 66 and hailing from Idyllwild, Hemet, San Jacinto and Temecula.

MUSICA’s mission is to provide string education at low cost to musicians of all ages and to serve our community in our music making.  It is a partner of the Diamond Valley Arts Council.

MUSICA! – Inland Valley String Institute is located at the Esplanade Arts Center.  It is near Fresh and Easy Market at Sanderson and Esplanade in San Jacinto.  They offer professional, performing and trained string teachers who can give you (or your child) the best training in violin, viola, cello and bass playing from posture to performance.
