Homestead Museum (City of Industry) — May 26-27

Memorial Day in the Making Living History Tours – May 26 & 27

People are often amazed to find this six-acre historical treasure nestled among the busy streets of the City of Industry.  Called “one of California’s true historic treasures” by the Smithsonian Institution, the Homestead Museum provides a unique way to look at Southern California’s history from the 1840s, when this land was still part of Mexico, through the 1920s, when Los Angeles came to be known world-wide as a major metropolitan city. Through all of its programs, the museum strives to better understand the past and people’s ability to shape history.
